Hi, I'm Jan! I'm a graphic and communication designer and graduated from Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch Gmünd in March 2026. I design layouts, interfaces and brand identities that feel right and natural. I love bringing concepts to life with clean execution and a sharp eye for details.
I started designing 2018 with training as a media designer, which I later expanded with my degree in communication design at HfG. Thanks to that dual background, I'm just as comfortable developing web designs and interfaces as I am crafting visual identities and print design. Over the past years I've worked on a wide range of projects: from user interfaces for medical devices at Bosch Healthcare Solutions, through graphics and web designs for local clients, to personal and university work such as my bachelor project.
Beyond designing, what drives me most is curiosity — about new things, and about where design goes next. I firmly believe the best results come from close collaboration and open communication, while I value working independently just as much. What I like about design is being able to keep learning and keep trying new things.
Away from creative work, I like staying active with sports, playing guitar, or getting lost in a good film. I'm always up for discovering new perspectives — lately through a camera lens (a second-hand Sony Alpha 6000 I'm having way too much fun with), or by travelling to new places, like Brazil, where I've been spending more time recently.

Working Student — UI/UX & Visual Design | Oct 2025 – Feb 2026
- Designed and prototyped screen interfaces in Figma for the Vivatmo medical device base station.
- Set up a semi-automated localization workflow by integrating POEditor into Figma to translate UI screens into 28 languages.
- Created marketing assets, flyers, brochures, whitepapers, and LinkedIn campaign visual designs following strict corporate guidelines.
